Heather Stetson

Heather Stetson, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC is a compassionate board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She began her nursing career in 2002, choosing to specialize in Pediatric Healthcare. Driven by a passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of youth, Heather pursued further education to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She then completed the KySS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Fellowship from Ohio State University. Throughout her career, Heather has worked in a variety of settings, including pediatric clinics, hospitals, and community mental health. She has experience in diagnosing and treating a wider range of mental health conditions in children and adolescents, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders. Heather’s holistic approach to care integrates medication management with therapy and other interventions to address each patient's unique needs. She is dedicated to providing patient-centered care and empowering her young patients and their families to achieve optimal mental health and well-being. She believes that early intervention and support are key to helping children and adolescents thrive, and she is honored to play a role in their journey toward wellness. Heather is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, the American Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau the Honor Society of Nursing, and the Neuroscience Educational Institute.
