Jessica Coote, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, C-EFM, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She began her career as a registered nurse in 2007 when she took care of pregnant patients in a High-Risk Obstetrical unit. There, she also took on a leadership role as Clinical Care Coordinator over Maternal Child Health. Jessica has a passion for patient care, which is what led her to complete her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University graduate program focusing on patients across the lifespan. She believes strongly in integrating Conventional and Alternative Care Options that focuses on high quality, safe, patient-centered care grounded in holistic health principles. As such, she is a strong supporter of medical freedom and informed consent. Witnessing the overflow and lack of psychiatric care providers, Jessica fell in love with caring for mental-health patients. She recognized the need in the community for carers in the field, and felt a calling from God to serve others and ensure that that underserved population had an ally. Jessica has also trained at a weight-loss clinic in FNP school. Her focus is to practice medicine that focuses on providing individualized care that specializes on finding the root causes of disease. Jessica is a member of the American Nurses Association, American Frontline Doctors, Informed Consent Action Network, and Sigma Theta Tau, the Honor Society of Nursing. She also worked as a front-line Covid-19 healthcare provider. She’s excited to be a part of our practice here at Cornerstone Psychiatric Care, where she can provide quality care to our patients.
