Autumn Ferguson graduated from Owens Community College located in Perrysburg, Ohio in 2005. In 2006 Autumn accepted a position as a pool nurse for a community hospital in Oregon, Ohio providing care to medical-surgical, intensive care, vascular, orthopedic surgery, and oncology patients. Through this experience, Autumn found and pursued her passion for infusion nursing through the care of oncology and hospice patients. In order to improve skills and diversify her nursing practice she obtained her chemotherapy/biotherapy certification through Oncology Nursing Society as well as her Michigan Nursing license. She then began working with Northwest Ohio/Southeast Michigan's largest private oncology practice; providing infusion services to 6 different infusion suites across state lines. In 2014, Autumn obtained her Florida nursing license and relocated to the Tampa Bay area to assist in the opening of a rapidly growing Rheumatology infusion clinic combined with Oncology infusion patients; and began to focus on Rheumatology infusion/injection services. Autumn believes taking care of your mental health is imperative to healing. It is her experience that physical and mental health must coexist for anyone's optimal health and function; which is another reason she is passionate about expanding infusion services to treat the patients at Cornerstone Psychiatric Care's Tampa office. To balance her passion for nursing, Autumn spends her spare time exploring the Florida beaches, reading, and traveling.
