Jessica Shepley, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, CRNI is a certified registered infusion nurse and a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She began her career as a registered nurse in 2006 taking care of patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Units and then specializing in infusion therapy for patients with rare chronic illnesses. Since 2016, Jessica has been working in psychiatry alongside Dr. Ettensohn, providing ketamine infusions for patients with many psychiatric conditions, including treatment-resistant depression. She has been responsible for training nurses in accessing the bloodstream through veins, intravenous ketamine administration, and monitoring blood properties. In addition to her extensive clinical experience, Jessica also completed her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in a graduate program focusing on patients across the lifespan. Combining her knowledge from the intensive care unit, infusion care, psychiatry, and family medicine, she has developed the ability to treat her patients not only medically but holistically. Jessica believes that establishing a connection between the nurse and patient is imperative for providing unsurpassed care. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Infusion Nurses Society, American Psychiatric Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau, the Honor Society of Nursing.
