Dr. Diane Esposito is an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of clinical practice in Florida. She earned her BSN from Bloomsburg University (1987), an MSN in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Adelphi University (1996), and a PhD in Nursing from Barry University (2013).

She is ANCC Board Certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and has made significant contributions to psychiatric nursing education and advocacy. Dr. Esposito served as Education Council Chair of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), representing over 13,000 members, and has received honors including Florida Psychiatric Nurse of the Year (2018) and the Excellence in Education Award (2019).

In addition to clinical practice, she has served on the APNA Florida Chapter Board of Directors and with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Palm Beach. She has presented nationally on topics including trauma recovery, mental health needs of athletes, and addiction.

Dr. Esposito incorporates a holistic approach that integrates mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. She is trained in Christian counseling and has served in spiritual healing ministry. Currently, she is a full-time faculty member in the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she continues to mentor future psychiatric nursing leaders.
